Eric Guy, General Manager/Wine Buyer
Eric, like virtually all of us working in wine, is a by-product of a culture gone workaholic. Seeing those around him burn out young in the high-pace investment world, he decided to pursue one of his life loves - Vin. Since joining us in the beginning of '06, Eric has evolved into the leader our three wine-of-the-month clubs. His diligence and comprehensive attention to detail make him invaluable to our staff. A consummate professional in all regards, Eric is always ready to be your personal wine consultant.
Tina Morey, Assistant Manager/Buyer
Originally from Jersey, and minus the “big hair,” Tina found herself in San Diego pursuing a tech writing career. As exciting as the former sounds, she realized she missed cooking and baking with family, so she made the decision to study pastry in New York. After apprenticing and working in pastry shops and restaurants in the area, her passion grew, eventually landing her on the west coast. Now a Certified Sommelier, Tina is thrilled being a part of the WineSellar team, learning and tasting her way through the world.
Deirdre O'Dwyer, Wine Expert +
Deirdre hails from Rocky Mountain Coffee Country - Denver, Colorado. While working in the java industry (and enjoying vino after work), Deirdre began to see the parallels between the coffee growers and producers of the world to those within the industry of wine. The wide gaps in quality from bulk to premium. The roasters (coopers in wine?). California called, and the tours of the state's wine regions began.
