3. Tastings: Try It. Buy It.
At The WineSellar, we take the guesswork out of buying wine by making it easy for you to try many of the wines we sell before you buy. Our casual weekly and monthly tasting events offer a unique opportunity to sample a wide range of wine styles and grape varieties from the world’s most acclaimed wine regions. With our helpful expertise, you’ll broaden your knowledge and exposure to different style wines, assuring you that the wine you take home is one you’ll truly enjoy. Our regular wine tastings are great fun and held every Wednesday evening, our Club tastings are held 2 Saturday afternoons a month (club membership is not required to attend), in addition to twice -monthly wine dinners in The Brasserie and special tastings scheduled throughout the year. Can’t make it to a scheduled tasting? No problem. Our casual bar, connected to the upstairs Brasserie, offers more than 20 wines by the glass that are available by the bottle or case just a few steps away. Where else can you taste wines before you buy? We like to think of it as the ultimate test drive!

Gary Parker (WineSellar owner, wine expert and noted author) has been delighting hundreds of WineSellar Wine Club members since 1984 with personally-selected, hard-to-find domestic and international wines at prices 10-to-40% below retail. With three clubs to choose from ($40, $50-$60 and $80-$120), you’ll receive your exclusively, hand picked wine selections delivered each month to your door that will surely impress your favorite wine snob and turn any get together into a special affair. As a member, you’ll also receive additional discounts on all your wine at The WineSellar, plus discounts on all wine tastings, wine dinners and special events in The Brasserie. So what’s not to like? 5. Storage: Buy It. Take It. Or Store It.
We’ve been professionally storing wine for consumers, restaurants and companies since 1984. So whether it’s a vintage to preserve for your daughter’s wedding some day or simply a place to buy and store your collection, The WineSellar has a climate-controlled locker to suit any requirement from one case to 1500 cases, with prices for storage starting as little as $6 a month. Being the first commercial wine storage facility in San Diego says a lot about who we are. You can buy wine from a store with a wine aisle. 6. Gifts: Say It with Wine.
At The WineSellar, you’ll find a complete array of gifts, wine accessories and handmade gift baskets for any occasion. Need to box and ship it? Just ask.
