The wine opens like a sunny Russian River afternoon, its “brilliant yellow and light gold” glow inviting you in. Lemon, pineapple, papaya and yellow apple drift forward, warmed by “butter and vanilla.” On the palate, pear, kiwi and honeyed fruit mingle with lime and tangerine, while “cream, vanilla bean, coconut and almond” add richness. Chalk, mineral and soft spice close the scene with quiet elegance.
