Special tasting of 3 wonderful wines from Vega Vineyards of the Santa Barbara Wine Country.
2021 Vega Viognier -
Citrus aromas and hints of basil and lemon thyme lead to flavors of lemon and tangerine on the palate with notes of apricot and white peach. A silky mid-palate leads to a long, lingering finish.
2019 Vega Nebbiolo -
Bright and vibrant with pomegranate and cherry dominating the nose. A mild sense of molasses hints at the depth of flavor to come. Aromas of red rose, cinnamon and bay leaf mingle softly. Flavors of white and Bing cherry blend with kirsch and mint immediately.
